Hi Sims fans! I wanted to take a moment to pay my respects to two Sims creators who have left us, ones who have made an enormous impact on the game they—and we—love.
If you dabble in custom content at all, chances are, you have items in your game by artist CmarNYC. She has contributed greatly to the modding community with some excellent programs and utilities, and has been active for many years. She was a great person to talk to and very helpful! She was known for the SimRipper, various texture conversions, and being an all-round nice woman. The second, rebecah—who also ran Affinity Sims—was a prolific creator known by many in the community, who had some excellent content and provided many items for all types of Simmer. I was dumbstruck to learn about Cmar’s passing. It hit like sucker punch, and then Rebecah’s passing was the “KO”. Both ladies have left an indelible mark on the Sims community for well over a decade. I have so many things in my game from both of these wonderful creators. Though I never had the opportunity to interact with either of them, I will miss them. CmarNYC and Rebecah will be sorely missed within the Sims community.
